the western side of Clydebank and just south of Dumbarton Rd (A814)

Description
The subjects comprise a vacant and cleared development site on the
banks of the River Clyde with ongoing enabling works to
decontaminate, prepare and service the site. In addition the ground
level is being raised as part of a flood prevention scheme.
Commanding views will be offered over the River Clyde and
surrounding wetlands to the south and towards the key focal point
of Clydebank on the River Clyde, The Titan Crane.
The Site - A New Gateway
Connecting the town to the riverside is a key objective of
Clydebank re-built and Hospital gate offers a new access to the
River Clyde with improved road infrastructure and servicing.
The improved 5 acre site will accommodate new business pavilions
offering a total of approximately 90,000 sq ft of space.

Enabling works are ongoing and due to complete by December 2008.These works include decontamination of the site raising site levels to create a new platform fully protected from flood risk. Planning
Outline Planning Consent was obtained in September 2007 along with
detailed consent for the enabling works.
Environment
A new public realm park area will be created adjacent to the site
offering direct access to the river Clyde and riverside walkway.
Public Artwork has been commissioned which will create a focus for
this new location.
The public realm area and proposed Business Park offer a Lifestyle
choice to enjoy an attractive, riverside location for both business

The public realm area will offer external space for relaxing and to
unwind over lunchtime offering seating space and an interactive
environment. In addition the tree lined walkway offers attractive
seating areas and is linked to the new riverside walkway along the
