TWO CLYDEBANK REGENERATION PROJECTS WIN PRAISE FOR DESIGN
Clydebank Re-built has won praise for two of its regeneration projects in the Glasgow Institute of Architects 2009 Design Awards.
The top design award for housing went to the new £5.1 million Queens Gate housing development of 40 flats for Clydebank Housing Association, opened in August this year at the former John Brown shipyards site.
Chair of the panel of judges, Martin McKay said " This gentle curving block deals with a challenging site with elegant simplicity.
"The judges commended a fine building, well built and robust that signals positive intent for housing in Clydebank"
