Community Consultation

From the outset, there was a commitment from all partners that the residents and business owners in Clydebank, would be involved in shaping the town's regeneration.

The consultation programme started with a series of community workshops held in April 2003 in Clydebank Town Hall.  Over the last 6 years there have been  15 community wide consultation events - called Design Forums - where local people have come together to plan and share their ideas for Clydebank's future.  

Reports of the discussions and conslusions at these events are published and can be downloaded from the web site. 

The initial community consultation programme was funded by Scottish Enterprise, West Dunbartonshire Council, the West Dunbartonshire Community Planning Partnership and Europe through URBAN II.
